We are looking for a fully experienced Butchery Manager with enthusiasm and a passion for food and retailing to join our team. Excellent customer service skills are essential to drive and develop our business going forward.
This is a permanent full-time position, based over 5 days per week. You must have previous experience in the retail meat trade. An ideal candidate for this position would have managerial hands-on experience and customer service experience from a previous fresh food/meat business, including supermarkets or cash & carry style operations.
As the Butchery Manager, you will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of employees to achieve target sales, control stock, and meet high standards of customer service, displays, and hygiene regulations. A polite, efficient, and friendly manner is a must, along with excellent customer service and communication skills. You will be responsible for encouraging a hardworking and motivated work environment for your team members to work efficiently.
Some hands-on work will be required during busy periods and holidays, and you must maintain a safe food environment, complying with full HACCP regulations and health & safety regulations in a fresh food retail business.
